Any boats that have travelled outside of Nova Scotia in the last 30 days are required to perform decontamination procedures before entering Nova Scotia waters.
Dangerous invasive species, in particular zebra mussels and Eurasian water milfoil, both of which have been found in St. John River system could have catastrophic impacts to Nova Scotian lakes. In an effort to reduce the accidental risk of spread from a known population in the St. John River, Inland Fisheries is requiring ALL participants to decontaminate their boats prior to launching in provincial waters.

If your decontamination was conducted at a tournament in NB by DFO. You were given a Watercraft Inspection Card (Pictured below). Please enter the details below.
Unfortunately, if you have travelled outside of the province and have not decontaminated your boat, or haven't decontaminated following the steps laid out on the Clean, Drain, Dry and Decontaminate Website you will not be able to participate in tournaments or launch your boat in the province until you decontaminate your boat properly.
